Please contact Dr. Farrah Mahan if you are interested in participating in the 7th Annual African American Read-In on Monday, February 13th at 9:30 am.

~BOOK FAIR~
February 13th-17th

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the library during the week of February 13th. Students will visit the Book Fair during their regularly scheduled library day. Family Night will e held on Friday, February 17th from 6:30-8:30 in the APR. Parents can visit our Book Fair website at http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/clarabartonelementaryschool to preview book titles in advance as well as purchase books online during the week of the Book Fair. All online sales benefit Clara Barton Elementary. If you would like to volunteer to help set up the Book Fair or assist during Family Night please contact the PTA Book Fair Chairperson - Barbara McDonald at barbieannmcd@comcast.net.

Healthy Tips from Nurse Barna!!

As we are in the chills of winter, please remember to dress your children appropriately. On most days the students still go outside for recess so it is important that they are dressed for the temperatures. Please include coats and hats or gloves or scarves.

Another important reminder…younger students should have their names placed in the coats as some children in the same class may have the same jackets. They are easily confused and switched.
